The Mission Roadmap from 2022

With the Zero-Emission Shipping Mission Roadmap the Mission identified its way towards the 2030-goals. At the time, the 2030-goals were less ambitious than the current 2030-goals, and the Roadmap should be read as the initial document for the Mission's work.

The Mission Action Plan from 2022

Building on the Roadmap, the Mission identified 115 Research & Innovation knowledge gaps for to address in order to provide better data and knowledge sharing terms for the shipping transition.

By the end of 2022 till the end of 2024, the Mission and Mission members  addressed 43 of these actions.

Strategic priorities 2025-2030

The Mission's 2025-stocktaking of the global shipping industry's progress towards the Mission's defined 2030-goals led to a selfevaluation on how, the Mission should focus to ensure added value and concrete public-private contribution to the green shipping agenda at global scale.

With financing  and affordability as the overall hurdles for the sector, in order to start implementing some of the numerous green shipping corridor prefeasibility studies that have come, the Mission stays true to the original Roadmap and Action Plan values, yet setting focus on the need for finance to accelerate the implementation of the green shipping corridors.
